Upgrade to a Devotion Harvest Totem to also collect Devotion from nearby followers. As the name suggests, this structure speeds up plant growth. Birds will steal seeds and fledging plants unless they are deterred by a Scarecrow, and an upgrade to a Trap Scarecrow means that these birds can be caught and used for their meat. Upgrade to a Farmer Station II, which also makes planting, cultivation, and fertilizing crops the cultists' responsibility, so the Lamb can rest their cloven hoofs. This is one of the most useful farm buildings because it allows the cultists to water the surrounding crops. Store extra poop here after the Compost Bin is done, and members of the cult that are working on farm tasks can then use it on the crops. This building only unlocks with the Return to the Earth Doctrinewhich composts the dead bodies of followers so they can be used as fertilizer. That means the Lamb doesn't always have to rely on poop collected from the Outhouse or other parts of the cult compound. Grass is a simple resource to find and collect, and the player can use the compost bin to turn it into fertilizer.
Players will be prompted to seed the plot, water it, and fertilize it as long as some handy poop is available. All that's needed is a few blades of grass and coins. More complex structures will open up as the Lamb gains more Divine Inspiration, and higher-level materials such as Wooden Planks and Gold Bars are required for these structures. Luckily, these are some of the most basic structures that require simple materials, such as Wood, Grass, and Coin. The very first buildings that players will need to construct are shelters and farm plots.
